GALACTIC POLECATS

Galactic Polecats play roots music that fuses rockabilly, blues, and western swing, with a rock & roll edge.  Their sound is a high energy, dance friendly, 100 proof brand of all original brew they call Shinerbilly!  These cats are bootlegging their sound all over Southern California, and have shared the stage with the top musicians in the genre including Brian Setzer, Wanda Jackson, Lee Rocker, Nekromantix, The Legendary Shack Shakers, The Blasters, The Paladins and many others.  They continue to be booked on some of the largest and best Rockabilly festivals, such as Viva Las Vegas, The Roadshow Revival, SoCal Hoedown, Rockabilly on the Route, and The Rocketbilly Jubilee to name a few.  They have been featured on American Rumble with celebrity host Johnny ‘Spazz’ Hatton, have regular play on international rockabilly web radio stations, and have built a strong presence in the SoCal music scene.  With Tim Driscol (Battle Flask) on the guitar, Tim Kirkland (Zippy Josh and the Rag Tag Band, Platoon 1107) on the drums, Steve Janowski (The Porch Girls, Good Dog Nigel ) slappin' on the upright, and Charlie Schaefer (Sevenrest, Mayors of Garratt) on vocals, you aren't going to find a more happenin' shindig this side of the Appalachians.
